Leiper Hatch - Sylvester Hatch - Traveler Blue - Black Hatch
Every game farm needs a solid Hatch bloodline and we have two!
We also breed what we consider to be the finest modern Blues and Black Hatch.
LEIPER HATCH: (Pictured)
We are fortunate and blessed to have been able to acquire this line of Johnny Mitchell Leiper Hatch, they are direct from Kentucky USA.
These good honest birds are the real deal and cross well with any bloodline, especially with a white or yellow legged line.
I can't emphasize enough what Radio/Leiper, Kelso/Leiper, Albany/Leiper, Sweater/Leiper can and will do for you!
Roosters are dark red, medium/high station, green leg (blue leg rarely) and average 5-5 1/2 lbs.
Hens are typically red, dark/black neck, but we get the rare buff also.

SYLVESTER HATCH:
Mr. James Sylvester is a great breeder, his birds are very special and his reputation speaks for itself.
In search of a new Hatch bloodline we focused on his light red birds and we are more than pleased with the results.
Our line breaks high, abnormal for most Hatches and they kick with a lot of speed and accuracy.
We recommend crossing them the same way as the Leiper, now if you cross Leiper/Sylvester Hatch you're really on to something special!

Birds are mostly light red or lemon hackle, medium/high station, green leg.

TRAVELER BLUE:
We have a very unique blue line, we don't disclose where they come from but we are more than proud of these birds. They are very special!
Their colors range from almost white, blue merle, cinnamon to dark blue. All are green leg, most pea comb (straight comb rarely), medium/high station.
These birds are aggressive, fast, FAST and very game. They are always a treat to spar and will never dissappoint.

BLACK HATCH:
Our own line of black is our baby, they are hybridly crossed and ready to breed to anything in your yard.
They are a 5/8 to 3/8 blend of Brown Red and Leiper, we spent years getting them just right and they are!

Ranging from dark red to jet black, especially the pullets, mostly pea comb (rarely straight comb), FAST, strong and agile.
